Cory comes to Brightway with over 18 years of experience within hospitality, human resources, training, marketing, and sales, which fostered his thorough, customer-centric, and education-focused approach to any role he has undertaken. Growing up in Western Pennsylvania, Cory spent many years in Pittsburgh and later resided in North Carolina before planting roots in Virginia Beach, to be close to his husband Taylor’s family and, of course, the ocean. Cory and Taylor have two beloved fur babies, Chloe and Wyatt. Cory is currently on the GenZoo Board for the Virginia Zoo, which is designed to promote networking and philanthropy among young professionals and support the vision and mission of wildlife conservation; in the past, he has served on non-profit boards supporting marginalized communities and is passionate about volunteering in the community. Cory has a deep passion for dogs (and cats) and loves to spend free time exploring new places with Taylor, enjoying the outdoors, practicing his artistic skills, and playing adult recreational sports. 

Taylor comes to Brightway with over 16 years of experience in sales, account management, and sales team leadership. Backed by a strong foundation in relationship management and business growth, he is known for delivering strategic solutions and building lasting client partnerships. Born and raised here in Virginia Beach, Taylor is deeply connected to the community and proud to serve the area he calls home. His lifelong knowledge of the region, combined with a genuine appreciation for the people and businesses that make it special, gives him a strong local perspective and a natural passion for serving his community. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending quality time with his husband, Cory, their dog Chloe, and their cat Wyatt. He loves making memories with friends and family, relaxing by the ocean with his feet in the sand, staying active, enjoying live music, and discovering new favorite spots around town. Taylor also enjoys photography as a creative outlet and loves capturing life through the lens.
