Benjamin is a decorated combat veteran and comes to Brightway after being a captive agent. He saw a demand for options and wanted to do more for his customers and others in his community who needed coverage. With Brightway, he has access to a growing list of 40 insurance companies, which means he can offer more choice while helping consumers gain total protection for their homes, cars, trucks and more.

Benjamin and his wife, Tara, set roots in Abilene when he was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base. He gained much of his financial savvy while serving eight years as a Combat Comptroller. His service includes tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea as well as several humanitarian missions in the US and abroad. He maintains his ties to the military and veteran community through his membership in the Commemorative Air Force - Big Country Squadron, where he serves as Finance Officer, and in the Air Force Sergeants Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce and Abilene Young Professionals.

He is an alumnus of Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He loves to read, hunt, play sports and spend time with his family. 

Duff brings a broad range of skills to Brightway Insurance, The Young Agency.  Duff worked 23 years in the technology sector for a global semiconductor manufacturer.  As a manager and director in manufacturing and sales and operations planning he developed and implemented numerous manufacturing business and human resource processes to ensure organizational strength and success. 

Over the last decade Duff developed and operated two accredited and nationally recognized early childhood education franchises.  His staff and centers were recognized as top performers in the national franchise system earning the President’s award and were know for their generous contributions to charitable causes such as Ronald McDonald House and Save the Children.

Duff is excited to partner with his son, Benjamin to open the first Brightway Insurance agency in West Texas and to grow with this truly unique business model developed by David and Michael Miller.

When Duff isn't providing expert counsel to his clients, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoys being in the air - he is an instrument rated private pilot. 

Michelle was attracted to Brightway because of our Win-Win-Win model. A Texas resident for over 30 years, she wanted to be sure that the company she represented aligned itself with the best interest of her customers, who are her fellow Texans. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with clients and empowering them to choose the products that are a best fit for their family and situation.

She comes to Brightway, The Young Agency with 13 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, which has given her the opportunity to develop superior customer service and organizational skills. These skills, paired with the ability to shop an average of four times as many carriers as other independent agencies in her area, give her the resources required to ensure her clients have the best experience possible.

Michelle graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and Texas all-level teaching certificate from Stephen F. Austin State University. She holds a Texas Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance license.

She attends Beltway Park church and her family is involved in the Commemorative Air Force, Big Country Squadron. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Big Country, and reading.
