A Life of Service, Leadership, and Passion From Egyptologist Tour Guide to Community Leader and Agency Owner in America Introduction My name is Maged Samuel. I was born in Egypt, where I first discovered my passion for history, service, and leadership. Over the years, my journey has taken me from the ancient wonders of my homeland to the diverse opportunities of America. Today, I am proud to serve my community as the owner of a Brightway Insurance agency, building on a lifetime of helping others and embracing new challenges. Education, Languages, and Early Career I graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Management, specializing in the Guideness Department. My love for history and culture led me to become a licensed tour guide, or "Egyptologist," guiding visitors through Egypt's iconic sites for over ten years. In addition to my expertise in Egyptology, I am fluent in four languages: Arabic, English, German, and French. This multilingual ability has allowed me to connect with people from many backgrounds and offer a richer experience to those I guide and serve. During my years as a tour guide, I also pursued studies in business administration, equipping myself with knowledge and skills to adapt to new opportunities. Family and Personal Life I am married and the proud father of two children. My family has always been my foundation and inspiration. Together, we decided to embark on a new journey by moving to America, seeking new experiences and opportunities for growth. Professional Experience in America Upon arriving in the United States, I transitioned to a career in sales, drawing on my communication skills and passion for helping people. I worked in various fields, including as a jewelry store manager and in the automotive industry. For eight years, I built a successful career at a Nissan dealership. Later, I became a realtor with Paradise Realtors LLC, guiding clients through important life decisions. Currently, I am the agency owner at Brightway Insurance, where I continue my commitment to integrity, service, and excellence. Community Involvement and Volunteer Work Serving others has always been central to my life. In Egypt, I volunteered extensively in my church, supporting elderly people, children with special needs, and families in need. My efforts included providing food and health care, as well as making homes more livable by painting, repairing plumbing and electrical systems, and fixing doors and windows. My goal was always to improve lives quietly and humbly—helping without the need for recognition. Here in America, I continue to serve as a deacon in my church and remain deeply involved in community support. I also lead as an international Boy Scouts leader, guiding young people to become responsible, compassionate citizens. Personal Interests and Passions Outside of work and volunteering, I have a deep love for soccer—I used to play and I still enjoy following the sport. Traveling has always excited me, allowing me to experience new cultures and histories. I am also passionate about chemistry, finding joy in exploring how things work and how science can improve our lives. Looking Ahead: A New Chapter As I begin this new chapter with Brightway Insurance, my mission remains the same: to help people, to serve my community, and to make a positive difference wherever I am. My journey, from Egypt to America, demonstrates my belief in the power of service, lifelong learning, and genuine connection.
