Prior to joining Brightway, Jason Grubbs spent 13 years with Fifth Third Bank, where he built a successful career in financial services. Most recently, he served as Regional Vice President, overseeing the bank’s retail network across multiple counties.

With decades of experience in financial services, Jason is passionate about taking a consultative, relationship driven approach to insurance, helping clients protect what matters most to them while building long-term peace of mind.

Jason co-owns Brightway, The Torres-Grubbs Agency with his wife Erica. Family is at the center of their lives, and they love spending time together with their three daughters. The Grubbs attend Hope Presbyterian Church of Lutz and enjoy being active in their church and local community.

Erica Grubbs co-owns Brightway, The Torres-Grubbs Agency alongside her husband, Jason. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect easily with and support a diverse range of clients in the community.

As a Brightway Agency Owner, Erica finds deep fulfillment in helping friends, neighbors, and clients find the right coverage to protect their financial assets and gain confidence in their insurance decisions.

When Erica isnt helping clients, she enjoys spending family time with Jason and their daughters. Erica attends Hope Presbyterian Church of Lutz with her family.

Hi, I’m Austin. I’m a University of South Florida graduate with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate insurance with clarity and confidence. I take a consultative approach to insurance meaning I focus on understanding your unique needs and finding the right coverage at the best possible value, not just selling a policy.

I enjoy educating clients, answering questions, and making sure they feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll most likely find me fishing or surfing along the Florida coast, making the most of the outdoor lifestyle that makes this area so special.
